Annual Appeal 2021
If you are young, look forward to God’s fidelity to you
throughout your life;
if you are older, look back on God’s fidelity to you
through all that is past.
Whatever your age, know that God’s love is the foundation
upon which all our hope stands firm.
(a reflection on Psalm 119:9 from the Magnificat publication)
The sisters, staff and residents join me in warmly thanking you for all the enthusiastic and heartfelt support you have shown us this past year in helping us celebrate our fantastic staff who have been stellar in helping us navigate through these very difficult times due to the Covid-19 pandemic!
This year, we want to upgrade the rooms of our beloved residents. New over-bed tables, chairs for themselves and/or visitors and bedside lamps would give a particular touch of “TLC” to our residents’ personal living areas. Our residents, who are part of the “greatest generation”, ask for little yet are always very grateful for what is provided for them. For those who are no longer able to articulate their gratitude, the smiles on their lovely faces or the twinkle in their eyes speak volumes!
Your assistance in helping us provide these special touches in upgrading their living areas would be a visible expression to them of how much they are loved, valued and appreciated. They have given their lives for us, and for our country. They deserve the very best we can give them! Your collaboration with us in this project bespeaks your wholehearted support of our Mission here at Marycrest: to be at the Service of the Family for LIFE and of our core values: Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Compassion.
Thank you for prayerfully considering our 2021 Fall Appeal request and may God bless you and your loved ones for radiating His love and goodness to all of us here at Marycrest Manor.
Gratefully yours in the Heart of Christ,
Sister Judith, O.C.D.
